If anyone out there knows anything (including Nintendo web folks who are really only supposed to post helpful answers on Nintendo's forums), please post it here. Skyward Sword is the one and only game not immediately picking it up.I'm going to continue browsing around and I'll post back here if I find anything. I can't speak for the other two claiming that Zelda isn't recognizing the nunchuck, however, in my case, the damn thing is working perfectly with no less than 7 other games. If you are unable to try another Wii Remote, or neither Wii Remotes will work properly, please contact us for support.I assume that 9/10 responses to this problem will automatically be, the problem is with the nunchuck.replace it. If another Wii Remote is working properly, it appears the issue is with the first Wii Remote and it will need to be replaced. If both dots appear and the erratic behavior continues, there may be a problem with the Wii Remote, Sensor Bar, or Wii console. Please re-check your play environement for light sources. If three or more dots appear, there is an additional light or heat source being picked up by the Wii Remote. If the Sensor Bar was determined to be functioning by using a camera or cell phone, it's most likely a problem with the Wii Remote and it will need to be replaced. If only one or no dots appear on the sensitivity screen, there may be a problem with the Wii Remote, Sensor Bar, or Wii console and all items will need to come in for repair. If the cursor is currently not appearing, then this can only be done via a Classic Controller / Classic Controller Pro. Dab at the sticky areas of the Wii Remote with the tape to remove any contamination.Other tape may be used, but we've found masking tape to be the most effective. Place the fingers of one hand together and wrap a long strip of masking tape around the tips, so that the sticky part is facing outward. If contamination is found, follow these steps: Check the pointer lens for contamination (smudges, sticker residue, etc.).If you are using a Wii Remote Plus, try recalibrating.Ensure the Wii Remote is being used between 3 and 10 feet directly in front of the TV.If you are using an unlicensed accessory, a licensed accessory may resolve the issue. The licensed Wii Remote has the model number printed on the bottom near where the controller expansions plug in. Ensure that you are using a licensed Wii Remote.
